Stacking the Shelves 11/1/15 - Halloween Edition

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.

WHEW! It's over! Halloween is the busiest and BEST time of year. For me, it's bigger than Christmas! This year did not disappoint! My son and I had an amazing week filled with costumes, candy, pumpkins, parties and parades. It all ended with him exhausted and me barely able to move, but it was all worth it. October is my favorite month and I admit that I'm sad that it's over.

Before I share my book haul, I'd like to share a few pictures of our Halloween fun. It's been a rough year, I think we deserve some good times.

  1. Oooh very nice! Kinda curious about Wink Poppy Midnight! Been seeing it around quite a bit! Still need to read A Madness So Discreet myself! Enjoyed the final Mara Dyer book, even if I was a bit confused on what had happened in the first two books and the short wait (I waited until a few months before it finally released) for the third book. But it was a long enough wait with too many books in between that my memory failed me again! LOL! Hope you enjoy it! I still liked the ending, even if I couldn't remember how the characters got to where they were at the start and such!

Great costumes too! Yours is pretty creepy with the eye makeup! What was your costume? Glad to hear you had fun!

    Happy Reading!

  7. AWW your pictures are fabulous! Your son looks adorable as always, and you look amazing! Also, THOSE BOOKS. I requested at least half of them hahah (oops?) And I am really curious about Need too- I was not a huge fan of the author's last series, so I am iffy. Hope you love all of these, and have a nice, calm week :)

  13. Ooh, you got some good books this week! I am trying so hard to be good about not taking a ton of egalleys, so I passed on some of those, but I'll be waiting to see your reviews to see if I was wrong on that. Love the Halloween costumes. Glad you were able to enjoy it! Thanks for visiting my Sunday post earlier.
