Stacking the Shelves & Week in Review 7/18/15

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.

Well, it's been a pretty quiet week. I blame summer. Not much going on book-wise or life wise. I'm mostly just vegetating inside because it's too darn hot outside. I'm slowly making my way through a few books so I can try to get multiple reviews up next next week. At least I was able to control myself this week with the book buying. It's great that I had a slow/nearly nonexistent book week, but I feel a bit empty when it happens, too. At least this will give me a chance to catch up with all the other hauls!

This week's haul....

Bought

Nothing!!!! OMG!!!

For Kindle:

Rowan (Worldwalker Trilogy #2.5) by Jospehine Angelini

I pre-ordered this a long time ago and totally forgot about it. Nice surprise!

Like I said, it was a slow week.

What did you add to your shelves this week?

  2. It's always nice when a book turns up that you forgot you pre-ordered! I'm expecting a few next month which is pretty exciting! So I definitely need to reduce the tbr for them arriving! Enjoy your books!

  4. OOoh nice! I requested Reawakened months ago with Netgalley and they seem to be ignoring me. Which is just as well, as my TBR pile is beyond out of control and my review pile is getting a little crazy too! But I must go pick up Rowan because I am anxious to learn more about him! Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

  14. A quiet week and a hot summers day. Right now that sounds great to me. On this side of the hemisphere, it's cold, windy, and rainy... Winter. Nice haul of books. Most of these are new to me. Hope you enjoy reading them all.

  15. But...but... you ALWAYS have a massive book haul! I am scared, are you okay? ;) It is such a lazy time of year though, I agree. I am having trouble finding motivation myself! Also, I am glad you'll be doing ARC August too- I need someone else with completely ridiculous amounts of books to help me not feel like the only one ;) Hope you enjoy the new books (since, well, you DID get some!) and have a lovely week :)

  16. It's such a good feeling sometimes to not have spent any money on books. Especially when I look at my huge TBR bookshelf and think of all the books on there I want to read and wonder when I'm going to have time. Hope you have a great week!
