Stacking the Shelves & Week In Review 10/25/14

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's about sharing what I've added to my shelves this week whether it's physical books or eBooks I've purchased, books won or gifted, ARCs from publishers or eGalleys from Edelweiss and NetGalley.

Bought

Talon by Julie Kagawa
The Walled City by Ryan Graudin
Blythewood by Carol Goodman
Death Sworn by Leah Cypess
Poison (Legacy #2) by Molly Cochran

Gifted (accidentally)

Seduction (Legacy #3) by Molly Cochran (10/2/14)

Molly came to my store to sign books and she accidentally left the ARC for her next book. She told me to keep it, which was very kind of her. She's pretty awesome and super nice.

eBooks (Purchased or Free)

This Night So Dark by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

I had no idea this existed until last week's Stacking the Shelves. As I hopped around, I came across it. This is a short novella that connects the first two books in the Starbound series, These Broken Stars and This Shattered World. I already read This Shattered World, so I'm excited to see how it connects to These Broken Stars.

Skylark (Skylark #1) by Meagan Spooner

When I saw this for 99 cents I grabbed. I figured since I loved the Starbound series, I should probably read more from Meagan Spooner.

Ahhhhh!!!!! I'm so excited about this!!! I'm a huge fan of Rachel Vincent's Shifters series andthis week we not only got a short story, but a she announced a SPINOFF SERIES!!

WOOO HOOO!!!

eGalleys from Edelweiss and NetGalley

Court of Fives by Kate Elliott
Anomaly by Tonya Kuper
Razorhurst by Justine Larbalestier
Breaking Sky by Cori McCarthy
The Witch Hunter by Virginia Boecker
Kissing Ted Callahan (and Other Guys) by Amy Spalding

  1. WOW. So much awesome in your pile. That was so nice of Molly Cochran to give you the Arc of the Third Book. Lots of beautiful covers indeed.

    1. I could stare at book covers all day...actually, I kind of do. If I'm not reading I'm looking up books or working... in a bookstore ;)

  2. Wow big week! I just finished Talon and I was disappointed. I really want to read that Cypress series. I saw Breaking Sky on Edelweiss and I am thinking I'd probably like it. Enjoy your books! Thanks for stopping by The Cover Contessa

  5. Talon! I've been hearing some not so positive things but I so can't wait to read it myself, since I haven't read many dragon ones as it is. :) Happy reading! :)
