Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
This week's Top Ten topic is pretty much anything Halloween themed. Books or movies to get you into the Halloween spirit, characters you want to dress up as, scary things....I'm not even sure what I'm going to do until I start doing it. Hmm...perhaps I'll go with ten book characters I'd like to dress up as for Halloween. I think I can do that. It's too bad I'm too busy reading to actually get a costume together.
Karou from Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
America Singer from The Selection series by Kiera Cass
Bellatrix Lastrange from the world of Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Miss Havisham from Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
Lilac LaRoux from These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner
A Shadowhunter from The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare
When Cassandra Clare came to my store to sign books, I threw on some temporary tattoos and black clothing... that's really all you need.
Donia (The Winter Queen) from Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
Miaka Yuuki from Fushigi Yuugi by Yuu Watase
(manga counts)
Eve Rosser from The Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine
Who would you be for Halloween?
Are you reading any spooky books?
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

These are all fantastic ideas! I love all the gorgeous dresses! And Bellatrix would just be an awesome costume!
ReplyDeleteHere are my Top Ten!
Out of all those costumes I think that Bellatrix would be the easiest for me to pull off right now. That's pretty much exactly how my hair looks these days.
DeleteI picked America and Clary, wish I'd thought of Daughter of Smoke and Bone though. Great list!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Top 10.
I'd love to dress up as Karou or Bellatrix. Or perhaps America, because that dress!! :) And I really like that picture of you as a shadowhunter, it's awesome. :) Great list, and thanks for stopping by my TTT earlier. :)
ReplyDeleteIt would be AWESOME to dress as Bellatrix!
ReplyDeleteBooks of Amber
Awesome picks! It would be so fun to make some of those costumes (especially the Hunger Games one!).
ReplyDeleteAHHH. Are you a Morganville fan?! I love that series SO MUCH! Also, great list! I'd dress up as so many of these--America, Eve, Karou, and more!

I love Morganville. Rachel (Roxanne) is a friend of mine. I've actually dressed up as Myrnin before for a book signing/party we had for her. I wore a vampire bunny slippers and a spider ring with a leash on it (Bob).
