Stacking the Shelves 9/19/15

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.

Ok, I know I haven't been around much lately and I PROMISE I will have an explanation why soon. I just have to gather the courage to talk about it. In the meantime, I really want to try to focus on reading and posting more. I need to get myself back together and get back to doing things I enjoy. I'm now behind on my goodreads challenge and this really upsets me. Sigh. Life.

Anyway, I only bought one book this week BUT I got a ton of really awesome stuff from Edelweiss and NetGalley (mostly Edelweiss). I got a lot of books I've really been looking forward to.

Oh, and the camera on my phone seems to be taking terrible pictures lately. They are all fuzzy. I think my lens is scratched up. This is why I haven't been on Instagram as much. I need to get a new phone anyway because it doesn't seem to be working very well lately.

  1. OMG where did you get the ARC for This is Where the World Ends? OMG nearly lost it when I saw that on the list & it's a great list for sure hahaha. I have been dying for that book and I requested it, but not putting high hopes on getting it you know.. aghhh I'll die of anticipation!

Symptoms of Being Human, Thicker Than Water and The Word for Yes seem great as well. Pretty covers! I'll definitely be checking them out. Thanks for sharing :)

  6. OOoh nice haul! Those are some new to me reads but some are familiar! You could almost say Myshka was growling like a lion...but yeah, a yawn is more likely! LOL! "Our cat" would just have this look of disdain on her face, like "what are you doing pesky human?"

    Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

  7. I've heard of The Scorpion Rules, but I'm hesitant to pick it up. You should definitely share what you think. ;)

As for your Edelweiss haul. I am in awe. So many good books. Jodi Meadows and Dan Wells' books are the ones that I'm really looking forward to. Hope you enjoy them.

  16. Oh my gosh, weren't those Harper Edelweiss uploads amazing? It's always my favorite when they dump them all on there. It takes a bit of self-control not to take them alll every time! :) I hope you're having a great week and enjoy all of your books!
