Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews
to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.
Well, after all the craziness of BEA and everything else I had going on the past two or three weeks, I'm finally getting back to normal. I've gotten a lot read, I just need to get back into the swing of writing up reviews. I'm working my way out of a review slump. I think the problem is that I have so many books to review I'm overwhelmed. I started about 5 reviews this week and have only finished one so far. My focus is out of focus. I'll get it back. I'm hoping next week is super productive and I can finish all the things I've started.
I ended up with another big haul this week. Oops. In my defense, a bunch of these were pre-orders and I had coupons or used my discount for the rest. As for the eARCS, this is actually about two and a half weeks of them. I didn't haul them last week because I had so much from BEA and the week before I left them out because I was doing a quick Stacking the Shelves post (I had relatives over for the weekend because it was my son's birthday and there was a holiday.
Anyway, here's my haul...

bahaha I love how you spoke for your cat! I did this all the time with my animals! And you've got some GREAT books! Open Road Summer is one of my favorites and I can't wait to read Extraordinary Means!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy and thanks for stopping by my STS!
Nicole @ The Quiet Concert
I see that we got a few books in common this week. I often get that look from my mother, you don't need more books.
ReplyDeleteGrace @ Books of Love
We got a lot of the same books this week! I grabbed a few of these titles from BEA, like Nowhere But Here (but just an ARC! That hardcover is gorgeous!), Daughter of Deep Silence, and Illuminae, among others. So happy to see Inland on here! I read it earlier this year (or maybe last year?) and loved it. She's one of my favorite authors and her books are seriously underrated in my opinion. Hope you enjoy all your new books :)

You have got some gorgeous books this week! :-) We never need any more books as bookworms but we always seem to manage it! ;) Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteSo many books! But, yeah, I have that problem too. I currently have over 150 books I own, but haven't read, and I still go to the library and request books for review. Oops! Anyway, I hope you enjoy all your books!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious as to how much all those cost :P But yes, amazing haul! I haven't read Nowhere but Here but I think I want to because Katie's writing has been a hit for me! Daughter of Deep Silence was apparently amazing, words from a friend. I think I'm going to love it!

My goodness your hauls are impressive! I just... words elude me. I don't know where to start! I totally forgot to add the 2 eARCs I got this week- oops! Also, I really need to read Winterkill so I can read Darkthaw. Was Winterkill good? And I am so torn about Dreamstrider! You must let me know how it is so I can decide :) Hope you enjoy all of these, and have a fabulous week!
