Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.
Well, this week has been HORRIBLE! I've been miserably sick with a TERRIBLE cold all week. I've gone through about 4 big boxes of tissues, two packages of Advil Cold and Sinus and a big bottle of Robitussin. It SUCKS. Thank goodness I had a lot of scheduled posts set up, because I could not think or focus long enough to write a review. I did get a lot of reading done (because I pretty much couldn't move from one spot for several days), so at least there was something good that came out of it. I feel like I should apologize for the lack of reviews this week, though. Sorry :(
Thank goodness for book delivery! Although, I was able to drag myself into work on Friday night and I bought a few books there. I'm aware that I went a little crazy this week, especially with the eARCs. My excuse is that I'm sick and it made me feel better. That works, right?
Oh, well. Here's this week's haul...

Twist (Loop #2) by Karen Akins
Miss Mayhem (Rebel Belle #2) by Rachel Hawkins
Zeroboxer by Fonda Lee

What did you add to your shelves this week?

Wow you were not kidding when you said that you went crazy with the book buying :P I love how your cat is in every week's book haul photos! I want to read A Girl of Fire and Thorns but I feel like I am already halfway through too many fantasy series and I need to finish them before I start more.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better this week, thanks for stopping by Bursting Books!
Yep, there's nothing like a splurge on books to pick you up when you're feeling low.. Sorry to hear that you've been sick. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteDon't apologise for a lack of reviews, your health is far more important. I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI love the selection of books you've bought this week. I really can't wait to read A Whole New World.
Great haul. I loved every one of the Catherine Gayle books.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better.
Your kitty is cute - I have one that looks similar.

Oh, my goodness...my team made the playoffs! I still think they'll get crushed by the Rangers in round one, so I'll still be in need of the hockey themed books soon.
DeleteAwesome books! I am really looking forward to Rae Carson's latest series...I am a fan of Girl of Fire and Thorns. I also didn't know Summer After You and Me was out already. That is high up on my TBR list...love a book that takes place at the Jersey Shore. Enjoy all your books!
ReplyDeleteThe only one on your list that I've tried was The Fearless but it wasn't my kind of thing. I haven't liked anything by Emma Pass so far. Hopefully, you'll like it much better. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteNice to know you're feeling better now though :) and that's a lot of books!! I've been wishing to get my hands on Sekret but my local bookstore never had it.. There's a lot of your review books that I'm looking forward to particularly Walk on Earth a Stranger . Hope you'll have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteczai @ the Blacksheep Project
Oh nice! Dying to read Ash & Bramble and This Monstrous Thing! Put requests in, but for some reason EW never acknowledges my requests. Starting to think I should close my account. They even cleared out my cache or record of all downloads/requests/rejections...no clue why they did that.
ReplyDeleteAnyway...Hope you enjoy all your awesome new reads!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Lots! I have Sekret on my "next to read " pile. Hope you enjoy them all. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant week for you.
ReplyDeleteI really hope you enjoy all your new reads.
Being sick sucks. It's the worst thing in the world. I hope you love all your new books.

Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
I'm seeing Zeroboxer on a lot of blogs. I think I'm going to have to add it to my list. :-)
ReplyDeleteShannon @ The Tale Temptress' FF
Um, holy crap. That is a LOT of books. You seem to have economically negated my lack of books this week hahahha. I hope you are feeling better though! I was sick this week too, it seems to be making its rounds :( I want ALL your books, so I don't even know what to comment on first. Ultimately, I am basically drooling over the EW books. Drooling. That is all. Hope you enjoy them, and have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteShannon @ It Starts At Midnight
So many books! How will you read them all? The Monstrous Thing, The Unquiet and Dreamland look like books I'd enjoy.
ReplyDeleteMy weekly post.
Great haul and I so want to read The Unquiet. It looks great. Hope your books help you get better soon. I read Me, Earl and the Dying Girl last year and it was one of my top 5 favorite. The movie trailer looks awesome as well.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to feeling better this week. I've got to get around to finishing the Girl of Fire and Thorns series! But I got a lot of the same egalleys as you did this week, including the new Rae Carson one. Great haul!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Sunday Post
These are all new to me, but it looks like you got a great haul! Enjoy them :)
