Stacking the Shelves & Week in Review 3/7/15

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.

Well, I got a lot of reading done this week, mostly because we had more snow and ice this week than we had all winter here. Go figure. It's almost Spring and Mother Nature decides that now is the time to dump a whole bunch of cold, white, slippery stuff on us. I know, I shouldn't complain since there's been barely any snow here (but it's been COLD...many days below zero), but it still annoys me. I'm ready for warmer weather. Even though I read a lot, I didn't get much posting done. I was in a reading groove. Next week there will be lots of reviews (and a giveaway). Most of the week I was unable to leave my house because of the weather, but I still managed to get a lot of books. I pre-ordered a bunch and was expecting them last week, but they didn't arrive until this week.

This weeks book haul...

PS - I LOVED IT!

I know I've been tagged by a few people for different awards and memes in the past week or so. I'm going to try to do as many of those as I can this week. I'll do my best to get those done along with all the reviews I have planned. It's going to be a BUSY week!

What did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. Fantastic haul! I've been wanting The Glass Arrow for so long now. I feel like I already bought too many books this month (LOL) so I might get it next month. Also, Sea of Shadows, Sweet Strange Song and Dorothy Must Die sound so great!

    Happy Reading!

    1. I missed a chance to meet her a few weeks ago. She was signing at another bookstore near me but I had to work (I was the only manager available to close the store that night). She's been round the area a lot, so hopefully I get another chance.

  16. ADSOM looks so good!! Charisma was a really good book (I'm hoping to post my review either tomorrow or Tuesday). Isn't the cover so pretty? I wouldn't mind getting a hardcover for myself. :)

    Happy reading!

  17. You got some great books. Diary of a Haunting looks interesting and I have never seen it before. I have also seen Charisma show up quite a bit and had not noticed it prior to this week. I have a small haul posted over at http://bookertsfarm.blogspot.com/ We had a lot of snow Thursday and basically our city was shut down for 2 days. I am ready for spring as well!

  18. Jealous of your copy of Charisma! I've got the Dorothy Must Die stories on hold at the bookstore where I work as well. I think one reason I miss not having any snow days here this year is that I haven't had all the extra reading time! Great haul! Thanks for visiting my post earlier.
