It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! is a weekly feature hosted by Book Journey to share what we've read in the past week and what we plan to read next.

Last week I read:

Charisma by Jeanne Ryan (review to come - loved it)

The Lost Herondale (Tales from Shadowhunter Academy #2)
by Robin Wasserman and Cassandra Clare
(a wonderful addition to the series!)

No Intention of Dying (The Internment Chronicles #1.5)
by Lauren DeStefano
(a VERY short prequel to book #1 - even though it's listed as #1.5)

Burning Kingdoms (The Internment Chronicles #2)
by Lauren DeStefano
(I did enjoy it, but since it's book #2, I don't know if I'll give it a full review because...spoilers)

Currently Reading:

The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows

What I hope to read next:

Shutter by Courtney Alameda

Entangled (Entangled #1) by Amy Rose Capetta
(I know I have tons of newer books I need to read, but I'm really in the mood for sci-fi. Book #2, Unmade, is pretty new, though. I've also wanted to read these for a while.)

What are you reading this week?

  1. I have 5 books I'm reading and am trying to juggle them all right now... I usually don't like reading this many books at one time as it's difficult to keep the plots straight and/or remember about the book if you've put it down for awhile!

Anyway, I am reading the following:

    1. Crusader's Cross by James Lee Burke --- An audiobook, I just started last week and read by actor, Will Patton

    2. I Am Livia by Phyllis T. Smith --- Historical Fiction, which I am loving at the moment.

    3. Duplicity by N. K. Traver --- Advance Reading Copy of a YA novel, that started off great, but have set aside for other reads.

    4. The Body Ecology Diet by Donna Gates --- Health related book that I need to finish.

    5. Instant Temption by Jill Shalvis --- A romance novel.

  5. I'm in a mini reading slump this week so I'm not sure what I'm going to read next. Maybe a zombie short story just to ease me back into things! Good luck with your reading this week.

  6. I read the Edelweiss extended sample of The Orphan Queen a while ago. I really should try to fit in the rest of the book now that it has been released. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
