Stacking the Shelves & Week in Review 2/14/15

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It's about sharing what I've added to my shelves this week.

Well, so much for a slow week! I thought I was due for one, but I accidentally got a lot of books this week. Oops. I had pre-ordered a few (and forgot I did) and others just happened to end up coming home with me. These things happen when you work in a bookstore. And then there's also my Book Outlet order. They were having a 50% off sci-fi sale and I took advantage of it.

Here's my haul:

Bought

I Remember You by Cathleen Davitt Bell
White Space (Dark Passages #1) by Ilsa J. Bick (new in paperback)
The Glass Arrow by Kristin Simmons
City of Savages by Lee Kelly
Shutter by Courtney Alameda
Dove Arising (Dove Chronicles #1) by Karen Bao

Book Outlet Purchases

Control (Control #1) by Lydia Kang
Tandem (Many-Worlds Trilogy #1) by Anna Jarzab
Override (Glitch #2) by Heather Anastasiu
Shutdown (Glitch #3) by Heather Anastasiu
Through to You by Emily Hainsworth
Wildcat Fireflies (Finestra #2) by Amber Kizer
Scintillate (The Light Key Trilogy #1) by Tracy Clark
The Shadow Society by Marie Rutkoski
Parallel by Lauren Miller
Guardian (Proxy #2) by Alex London
Spark (Sky Chasers #2) by Amy Kathleen Ryan
Flame (Sky Chasers #3) by Amy Kathleen Ryan

All of these were between $1 and $3. I got 12 books for not much more than the price of one hardcover!

eARCs from Edelweiss and NetGalley

The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey (YAY!!!!)
Hotel Ruby by Suzanne Young
Some Kind of Normal by Julianna Stone
My Best Everything by Sarah Tomp
Feral Pride (Feral #3) by Cynthia Leitich Smith

Willful Machines by Tim Floreen

I also got THIS from Edelweiss:

There's no cover yet but I wanted to share it.

  3. Great haul this week, you've got a really awesome selection of books! Good luck trying to decide what you're going to read first though. I really wish that the shipping cost from Book Outlet to UK wasn't so ridiculous, those books are so cheap on there!

  4. Impressive haul.... I'm sad to see people with their E-Arcs of The Girl At Midnight from Netgalley as mine is still pending..... ok, maybe I'm a little jealous if I'm truthful!

  20. We've got some of the same books it seems. I've had to keep myself from the Book Outlet website, I would spend so much money. And yeah, I'd get a ton of books, but really, not sure I'll live long enough to read the ones I already have! Great haul, and thanks for stopping by my post earlier!
