It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! is a weekly feature hosted by Book Journey to share what we've read in the past week and what we plan to read next.

Ugh. I didn't get nearly as much reading done last week as I wanted to. I posted a lot though, so I'm happy. I've been reading The Sin Eater's Daughter for over a week, I don't know what's taking me so long to finish it. Perhaps I shouldn't read more than one book at a time so I don't get distracted, but I can't stop myself. I'm having trouble focusing. Must. Focus.

Last week I read:

The Devil You Know by Trish Doller (review to come closer to release - 6/2/15)

Welcome to Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare & Sarah Rees Brennan (see review HERE)

Currently reading:

The Glass Arrow by Kristen Simmons

The Sin Eater's Daughter by Melinda Salisbury (still)

What I hope to read next:

The Forgetting by Nicole Maggi

Earth & Sky by Megan Crewe

I've been looking forward to both of these for a while.

What are you reading this week?

  1. Nice! I put an order in for The Glass Arrow! Been hearing good things and I had gotten myself on a book buying kick. Regretting it already because I know my credit card bill will be nasty! Eep!

    Happy Reading!

  3. Some weeks we just don't read all the books we plan on reading. It happens silly real life or reading funks just getting in the way. I can't imagine how you could read more than one. I have Glass Arrow on my TBR but it's not going to happen anytime soon to many books. I'm torn I want to read Sin Eaters Daughter but your no the first to find it taking longer than expected. Could just be distractions. I know that happens with me. Hopefully you read them all this week. Have a great week

    1. It's just that not much really happens in The Sin Eater's Daughter for a while and it's easy to get distracted from it. It's a slow build.
