Stacking the Shelves 10/3/15

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.

OOPS! I bought a lot of books this week! In my defense, I've been super good lately and have barely bought anything in the last month or so. I couldn't stop myself, there were so many books out recently that I really wanted. I had a moment of weakness. I didn't get any books from Edelweiss or NetGalley for review this week, which is a first. I have plenty to choose from, so I think I'll survive.

After my haul, I left the link to my post explaining what's been going on with me and why I haven't been posting as much as usual the past month.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Zeroes by Scott Westerfeld, Margo Lanagan & Deborah Biancotti
The White Rose (The Jewel #2) by Amy Ewing
The Shrunken Head (The Curiosity House #1) by Lauren Oliver & H. C. Chester
Nightfall by Jake Halpern & Peter Kujawinski
I Crawl Through It by A.S. King
This Monstrous Thing by Mackenzi Lee
Dreamland by Robert L. Anderson

What did you add to your shelves this week?

<3 Michelle

  1. Nice haul! I just picked up The White Rose for my daughter. She loved The Jewel and keeps encouraging me to read it. I will... soon.

  2. I know about a lack of restraint. When I'm depressed or fed up or sick, that Amazon buy button is just way too handy! There is nothing like the buzz of the shiny new books coming out of that brown package...! Nice haul!

  3. Amazing haul! My copy of Six of Crows should be coming in today. I pre-ordered it, so hopefully it has the pretty black stained pages. Also -virtual hug-

  4. Amazing haul!! I´ve read and liked White Rose, is better that the previous book.
    Enjoy your books.

  14. Very nice stack for sure! I hope you enjoy them all. Definitely some in there I want to get. Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a great week!

  15. Oooooooo so many good books I want to read! Can't wait to see what you think of a few of these.

  16. Amazing haul! I just started Walk on Earth a Stranger last night. I really love the author's other series, so I'm super excited. Happy reading!

  17. That is an awesome haul!!! Did I notice that the pages on your Six of Crows weren't black on the edges? The copies I saw were, and I thought that was so cool! Thanks so much for visiting my STS earlier!

  18. Six of Crows is so gorgeous! It sounds like an amazing read, too. I have yet to read The Jewel, but I'm hoping to get to it before the end of the year. I hope you enjoy all of your books! :)

  19. That is quite the impressive stack! I haven't bought a finished copy of Six of Crows, but isn't it just gorgeous?? I really liked This Monstrous Thing and I loved Walk on Earth a Stranger! :D I hope you enjoy everything and have a great week!

  20. I just commented a novella on your other post so I kind of feel like gushing about books is strange, but that's what we came here for, right? And you did get ALL the books ;) That is good though! Book therapy (and retail therapy in general!) is kind of the best.

I cannot WAIT to read The White Rose, and Six of Crows (of which I am going to have to get a pretty finished copy of ASAP, clearly!). OH and I Crawl Through It, This Monstrous Thing.. I need to get reading :) I kind of want a finished copy of Walk on Earth a Stranger too. Is it pretty in person?

I really hope you enjoy these! And it looks like your little guy already understands the positivity of a good book haul. Good job, mama!! :D
