Stacking the Shelves 10/10/15

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.

Well, this week was a very difficult one for me personally. Last week I explained what's been going on, and I want to thank everyone for their kind words of support. It really means a lot. I'll be revisiting the post to respond to the comments. I've just had a lot going on and it seems like the situation only gets worse. I wasn't able to post last week, but in the upcoming week, I promise to have some things for you. I have a blog tour stop for Jennifer Murgia's Castle of Sighs (Forest of Whispers #2) on the 14th. I'm reading it now and it is awesome. A perfect book for the spooky season! I'm hoping to post my review of Devil's Pocket (Phoenix Island #2) by John Dixon along with a giveaway for signed copies of books #1 & #2. I'm hoping to be able to jump back into Top Ten Tuesday and Waiting on Wednesday as well. I need to do this for myself.

The Haul:

Bought

by Stephenie Meyer

Menagerie by Rachel Vincent

The Aeronaut's Windlass (The Cinder Spires #1) by Jim Butcher

Um...This one sounds...interesting. It sounds so weird that I'm intrigued.

  2. Sugar Skulls looks good! I hope you like Stephenie Meyers new book. There has been lots of controversy over it! Have a great weekend!

  4. I have Sleeping Giants too. I look forward to reading it. Sending good thoughts your way!

  5. If Midnight Sun had been released, I'd have liked a look at the Twilight story from Edward's view, hopefully with more of his family in it. But this reimagined story doesn't really hold any appeal for me and I won't be reading it. I hope you enjoy it and your other books though!

  6. Awesome books - a few of these are new to me, so I will have to check them out on Goodreads. I can't believe it's been 10 years since Twilight was published. Wow! I hope you have a nice weekend.

  8. YAY for new books! I got the Butcher book as well, and promptly gave it to my sister's boyfriend, who enjoys adult sci-fi. :D I thought Menagerie was something! I'm looking forward to reading Masquerade. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a fantastic week, Michelle. :)

  9. Nice haul! Seems many have added Life and Death to their shelf this week. I picked up Fever last week. I like Melissa's writing so I'm expecting it to be good.

    Happy Reading!

  10. I have got to go buy the 10th anniversary edition of Twilight. I wasn't going to, and then I saw the extra story and heard all the controversy, so I have to. But my original copy is autographed from when I got to meet Stephenie Meyer, so I won't be getting rid of it.

Hmm, hot pterodactyl boyfriend? I remember some erotic dinosaur ebooks I accidentally found one time on Nook, surely this isn't the same thing? Hope you enjoy your books, and I'll be around to see what you feel like posting! Thanks for visiting my Sunday post earlier as well!
