Description from Goodreads:

New York Times bestseller Alison Goodman’s eagerly awaited new project: a Regency adventure starring a stylish and intrepid demon-hunter!

London, April 1812. On the eve of eighteen-year-old Lady Helen Wrexhall’s presentation to the queen, one of her family’s housemaids disappears-and Helen is drawn into the shadows of Regency London. There, she meets Lord Carlston, one of the few who can stop the perpetrators: a cabal of demons infiltrating every level of society. Dare she ask for his help, when his reputation is almost as black as his lingering eyes? And will her intelligence and headstrong curiosity wind up leading them into a death trap?

Why I'm excited

Alison Goodman has a new book coming out?

YES!

When Lady Helen is released, it will have been five years since Alison Goodman's last book, Eona (Eon #2), and I am SO looking forward to more from her! Plus, this is a Regency adventure with demons and demonhunters! I'm expecting pretty dresses, dangerous creatures, thrilling adventure and maybe even a little romance. I can't wait!

What are you waiting to read this week?

  6. OOh nice! I definitely know how you feel when it comes to waiting for a favorite author to release books! I have a handful that are in limbo right now. I can't even work up the courage to ask the author if they'll write another despite what looks like the publisher not being interested anymore.

I'm still in mourning for Gena Showalter's Intertwined series! Last year I felt like that there could be hope for it someday in the future. Then recently on Goodreads in Q&A she said she's pretty much leaving it behind. I can't accept that the characters all would have lived HEA. I want to know HOW!!!

    End of rant/bemoaning

Hope you enjoy this new series by one of your authors! ;)

  24. I hadn't heard anything about this one before this post so thanks for sharing! Added to my TBR because I will read anything about 19th century England. I quite enjoy delving into that era! Plus, I've heard loads about Alison Goodman's Eon duology so I know that this is going to be phenomenal! Great post, Michelle!
