It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! is a weekly feature hosted by Book Journey to share what we're reading and what we plan to read next.

Saturday was the first day of August and along with the new month came a new reading challenge!

I am participating in ARC August! This is an event hosted by Octavia and Shelly @Read.Sleep.Repeat.  I will be reading as many ARCs this month as I can. Check out the sign up post HERE. I think I will be doing update posts on Fridays that will be replacing my It's Monday! posts for the rest of the month. I don't see a point in doing the exact same post twice in a week.

What I finished last week:

Return to the Dark House (Dark House #2) by Laurie Faria Stolarz (review to come)

Ugh. Slowest reading week EVER. I'm almost finished with the book I'm currently reading (which is an ARC), so I don't feel TOO bad about last week. But I do feel bad.

Currently reading:

The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey

I actually got this from NetGalley a long time ago, The book has been out since May, but I can still review it and give my NetGalley percentage a boost.

What I'm planning to read next:

A Curious Tale of the In-Between (Pram #1) by Lauren DeStefano
I got this from NetGalley but later I also received a physical ARC.

Devil's Pocket (Phoenix Island #2) by John Dixon
I got this from Edelweiss but a few days ago John stopped into my work and gave me a physical ARC.

Wish me luck!

What are you reading this week?

  1. Oh you got an ARC of The Girl at Midnight? Neat! I just finished one of my ARC August picks, and I've received a few more ARCs since my sign-up post. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH OF US!

  3. What a good idea! I rarely get to ARCs - always trying to catch up. Too many books, too little time! This sounds like fun, and it looks like you have a nice variety going on this week -

  4. I must read Welcome to the Dark House soon. I've read great things about The Girl at Midnight but I'm really thinking that it might not be for me.. Hope you enjoy it though! :)
