August OwlCrate Box! See What's Inside!

Hello, Minions! My August OwlCrate arrived! This month's theme was MYSTERY. Of course I was super excited to open up my box. I did guess the book that was in it, but that's fine because it's one that I really wanted and didn't own. So far, OwlCrate has been awesome picking the books. I buy and receive tons of books and every month the one in my box is one I didn't have. Way to go, OwlCrate! Want to take a look inside the box?

This month, I got Trouble is a Friend of Mine by Stephanie Tromly. It's described as "Veronica Mars meets The Breakfast Club". . .YES, PLEASE! Along with the book came a bookmark and pin, a Nancy Drew keychain, Sherlock Holmes nail decals, a custom art print and a pocket notebook.

A closer look...

A monthly subscription  to OwlCrate is $29.99 a month plus shipping. They've already announced the theme for next month's box . . . LEADING LADIES. Hmm . . . I wonder what book will be? I just have to avoid buying any books with that possible theme until next month. I figure that even if for some reason the book they pick is one I already own (bought or received as an ARC), I can just do a giveaway for it and keep the other bookish goodies. I have a ton of September ARCs, so hopefully it's not one I have.

If you're interested, check out OwlCrate at OwlCrate.com . If you get on the waiting list for the September Box, they'll send you an email letting you know when they're available for sale.  When you get that email, ACT FAST! They sell out quickly! You can also follow them on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.

I REALLY love this!

  1. Leading Ladies could be a lot of things! The first thing that came to mind was Queen of Shadows, though. I wish I could afford a subscription (I'm totally broke). I love opening surprise packages!

  2. Jealous! I want some Owl Crate goodies! But the international postage rates are way too high for me to even consider it! Might need to investigate some UK book club options or something...
