Stacking the Shelves & Week in Review 7/25/15

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.

Well, I was able to control myself again this week! I only bought one book! It helped that there weren't many books released, but I did get one that I've been really excited about! The only physical book I bought was a much anticipated sequel. Otherwise, it's still hot and I'm still kind of lazy. Summer does that to me.

Here's this week's haul...

  4. I was curious about the owl crate. The bookworm box is run by Colleen Hoover and all proceeds other than operating costs go to charity. AND, all the books are AUTOGRAPHED!!!! You should check them out. I'm already plotting how I can get this plan without my hubby knowing lol. http://www.thebookwormbox.com/

  17. Ooooh lovely haul! Wolf by Wolf looks really good, I am excited to read it! I am curious as to what you think of The Night We Said Yes. Also, what do you think of OwlCrate? It looks fun, but I worry that it will be stuff I already own all the time. But since you are worse than me with book buying, I figured you'd be a good person to ask ;) Hope you enjoy all the new books, and have a wonderful week!

    1. I'm really happy with OwlCrate. I was afraid I'd be getting books I already own, but so far I haven't. They give a month and a half notice of the theme, so I pretty much avoid buying any books that fall into that theme. The books are no more than approx 45 days in the wild before OwlCrate arrival. Next month's theme is mystery, so no books for me that ight fit into that category. I have some ideas for what the book could be, but I'm never sure. The other bookish @ items are great, too. I love that they partner with small businesses. The last box had a bracelet from Show Pony and I went on their site and ended up buying something. I'll probably go back for more, too. I love getting a surprise box every month, too. I figured that if I ever do get a book I own I'll just do a giveaway. So far I've been lucky.
