Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Inspiring/Meaningful Quotes from Books



Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.


This week's topic asks us to list our favorite inspiring or meaningful quotes from books we've read. I actually thought this would be hard, but it ended up being much easier than expected. If you click the book covers, it'll take you to the Goodreads page.

  6. I love the Jitterbug Perfume quote! I am very protective of my independence though sometimes that seems harder then it should. I also really identify with the Before I Fall quote - I really need to work on mindfulness and living in the moment.

  8. I love the Before I Fall quote, even though I chose another one from the book. The Daughter of Smoke & Bone quote nearly made my list too. That trilogy has so many meaningful and simply just awesome lines.

  9. I love your Cassandra Clare and Laini Taylor quotes - I've actually seen them on a few lists today, so they must be more popular than I thought! And that John Green quotes sounds like something straight out of Alice in Wonderland, don't you think?

  11. Oh, I *almost* added that quote from Before I Fall! But I went with Delirium instead. I love #2, I have seen that on a few lists, it is really great! And I like the one from Glory O'Brien too! GREAT list :)

  14. I love all the Cassandra Clare series. What did you think of Before I Fall? I've not read it yet but I liked the Delirium series really well and thought I might like that one. You got some really nice quotes. I've only read Clockwork Angel but the rest of the books look like really good reads. Thank You for stopping by yesterday.
