Stacking the Shelves & Week in Review 4/18/15

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.

Well, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things after being sick for TWO WEEKS. I finally think I'm at the tail end of this awful cold. Just in time to have to do inventory this weekend...ugh (I work in a bookstore).

  1. I'm not a fan of the Emma Pass books that I've read-hopefully you'll have a better time with them. Your haul this week is just the size I like mine to be! *grins*

  3. OOoh nice!! I really want to read Dream a Little Dream! Taking a hand in entering a contest for it first though! LOL! Still need to read the Ruby Red trilogy too!

Ooooh The Shadow Prince! LOOOOOOVED that one! I had to buy the new paperback too, the cover has changed a lot over the years! And since I managed a physical ARC of it and then got the hardcover when it changed its cover, I decided I needed this one too! LOL!

Hope you enjoy all your new reads!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

  4. I'm jealous that you work at a book store. I should look into that. I hope you feel better. Spring and summer colds are the worst

    Great haul!

    1. Working in a bookstore is fun but quite dangerous. I rarely leave empty handed. I basically work for books :)

    1. I've recently gotten more into Instagram, so now I'm paying more attention to how I display my books. Of course, I know I have a buying problem, but naturally I rationalize it. I don't buy anything else at all. Just books. If I do buy clothes, they are from the bargain rack. I don't need anything else besides food and coffee (and time to read).

  8. Great haul, Michelle! I can see you liked the drop of books that Simon and Schuster had this week. I got quite a few of them, but they will be spread out in other StS posts since I don't like to make my posts very long. I hope you enjoy them all! Along with your net galley books too. I have heard some goo things about Hello, I Love You.

  12. I really, really hope you feel better soon! And my goodness, another AMAZING haul this week! I really want I Am Her Revenge (I will likely just give in and buy it soon!) but we MUST talk about your ARCs. I am so torn on whether to request The Rest of Us Just Live Here, because I ADORE Patrick Ness, so I don't know if I even want to bother with an eARC when I have already preordered the book. Maybe I will let this one be just for me, no pressure :) And I am so tempted to request This Raging Light and Truest, but I am trying SO hard to keep myself in check! We'll see- you'll know if you see them all hanging around on my list next week ;) GREAT haul, and I hope you enjoy- and feel better!

  18. I had to get Persuasion this week as well! Glad you're finally getting back into the swing of things. I love that you can get your cat to sit still for a picture like that. :-) My dogs are impossible to try to do anything like that with. Thanks for visiting my Sunday Post earlier!

  19. Awesome Haul! You have so many beautiful covers this week. Just look at all the awesome review books you've added this week. I've been trying really hard not to visit NetGalley or Edelweiss I feel like I'm never going to catch up if I keep adding. I'm looking forward to seeing what you think about Dream a Little Dream I just am not sure since I've not read any of her other books. The cover is gorgeous. I have Acid but never got around to it. Thanks so much for sharing Have a great week.
