It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! is a weekly feature hosted by Book Journey to share what we're reading and what we plan to read next.

Ok, so I admit my reading plans for last week might have been a bit too ambitious, especially since I had so much to do in my non-book life. I think I did pretty well, though. I finished most of what I was in the middle of last week and got the new installment of Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy read. I don't have as much to do this week, so hopefully I can get more reading done.

Last week I read:

Miss Mayhem (Rebel Belle #2) by Rachel Hawkins
(I was a bit disappointed by this. I loved the first book, Rebel Belle, but Miss Mayhem wasn't as good. You can see my review HERE.)

Mark of the Thief (Mark of the Thief #1) by Jennifer A. Nielsen
(a fun, MG fantasy set in an alternate Ancient Rome. Lots of adventure, political intrigue and magic. Review to come!)

The Whitechapel Fiend (Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy #3)
by Cassandra Clare and Maureen Johnson
(YAY! SO good! Will and Tessa make an appearance in this one. I highly recommend purchasing these eBook short stories, they are definitely worth it. They are a fantastic addition to the world of The Mortal Instruments. They also make the wait until the release of Lady Midnight bearable)

Currently Reading:

Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis
(I had to set it down last week so I could finish the other books I was in the middle of. I'm looking forward to getting back to this and finishing it)

Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman

What I plan to read next:

Dream a Little Dream (Silber #1) by Kerstin Gier

If I manage to finish all of these, I'm sure I can find something else to read. I might pick up a sequel or I could start one of the amazing books that are released this week! I also have lots of series waiting to be started, so I might resort to taking a poll to help me decide what to read next. We'll see.

What are you reading this week?
