Stacking the Shelves 5/30/15 - BEA Mega Haul

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews to share what we've added to our shelves for the week.

Well. it's been quite a crazy week. Earlier in the week was a holiday and I had visiting relatives here and then BEA (Book Expo America) happened. I kind of took most of the week off from blogging, but I did post my Top Ten Tuesday and Waiting on Wednesday. I would have posted a review on Friday, but I was so tired from Thursday in NYC grabbing lots of books that I needed time to recover. I was only able to go for one day (Thursday) because I have to drive into NY from PA. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive, but traffic makes it 3 - 3 1/2. I can't really handle waking up at 4 am and driving into the city for more than one day. It would be different if I were staying in the city, but I can't really afford that. One day made me happy, I got some great books and met some amazing authors. I had fun, but I'm exhausted!

Here's my haul...

Bought

(I bought all blue books this week...completely unintentional)

The Water Knife by Paolo Bacigalupi
Made You Up by Francesca Zappia
The Tenderness of Thieves by Donna Freitas
World After (Penryn & the end of Days #2) by Susan Ee
The Novice by Taran Matharu

For Kindle

Center Ice by Cate Cameron

BEA Haul (from Thursday)

You can see that there are lots more books than the ones I featured below, but those are the ones that are the most important. It would take me way too long to include all Goodreads links, so I just posted pictures.

Lair of Dreams, Passenger and Fire Walker are autographed.

After the Red Rain and The Cage are autographed.

Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between is autographed.

The Haunting of Sunshine Girl is autographed.

Seveneves, Armada and All the Birds in the Sky are autographed.

City of Thirst is autographed by Carrie Ryan.

A few pictures from my day:

I got the last ticket for Libba Bray!

Being last has it's privileges. My long wait was rewarded with a picture and a little extra time.

I got a little silly with a raccoon and took a picture with Carrie Ryan.

On the road home...exhausted but with a car full of books!

Next year BEA is in Chicago, so I won't be able to go. This was farewell, until it someday returns to NY.

What did you add to your shelves this week?
